If you're constantly out gigging, and discovering new and unsigned bands and artists then Radio 1 want to hear from you.
Radio 1 will be in touch with musicheads from all over the UK to find out about local scenes. And YOU could be chatting to Huw on the radio about your favourite new band, artist or DJ.

Getting the bash into full swing for the second year running Sweet Black Angels brought up their lively rock from Devon. With a large majority of the crowd still yet to arrive at the Bash and looking round Sweet Black Angels played to a small number yet got those who were there rocking and in the party mood. Their melodic rock was a brilliant sound to get the early comers into the swing of the live music yet to come. With their album 'Beneath Shadows' in full swing and plans for a DVD the future looks very bright for Sweet Black Angels.

| CHRIS MOYLES
We are now at no.1 in Chris Moyles' top 24 on myspace!! Thanks to everyone that has hassled him for us. Keep doing it so we can stay in there for a while!!! You can find him at our myspace link below.
FESTIVAL
We are now confirmed as playing the Bulldog Bash festival again this year on thursday the 10th August, we will be on stage from 7pm - 8pm. Tickets and more info are available at www.bulldogbash.com
This is a great festival and saw us playing to 10,000 people last year and this year as the festivals anniversary will see us playing to our biggest crowd yet. Its a 4 day festival for 50 pounds, well worth a visit.
SUPPORT TOUR
The band are booked into a gig in Reading on the 19th of August where they will be playing infront of an invited promotion company. If the gig goes well, the band will see themselves heading out on a support tour with various bigger bands, more news to follow on this.
DVD
The band DVD is nearly complete and will be released later this year in conjunction with their 3rd extensive tour this year. Visit the website for a sneak preview in the video section.
FRANCE
The band will be playing back in Nice again from 11th September - 17th September, so book your flights and come on over, its an experience not to be missed out on, especially for the blokes, ladies night on a thursday is a right touch!!!!

If you would like to see SBA play at 6 festivals this year then we need your help. We have entered the Local Heroes competition through the Bandwagon website. The winners of this will get to play at 6 festivals around the UK this summer.
We need your votes to win the regional contest and go throught to a national final in London. The voting has already started and closes on the 30th June 2006.
